HILLTOWN DOMINO NEWS

At the captains meeting held yesterday Sun 12th June 22, the Hilltown Central Domino League were delighted to hand out charity money we have been holding since before the lockdown. At last we were able to present this money to the three outstanding league nominated charities.

Alice Noble (League Treasurer), along with the committee and captains were present to present the money to the following charities.

SANDS TAYSIDE (Stillbirth & Neonatal death charity)
DUNDEE & ANGUS FOODBANK
GRAY LODGE DUNDEE

Ms Fiona Malloch on behalf of SANDS TAYSIDE received £458
Mr Ken Linton on behalf of Dundee & Angus Foodbank received £110
Ms Lynn Hunter on behalf of Gray Lodge Dundee received £110

In all we presented to charity at the captains meeting £678! David Robbin`s had already presented Wellbeing Dundee with £458 a couple of years ago in his role as treasurer of the league at that time. That completes all past charity donations outstanding and we look forward to helping more charities out in the future.

Can I thank all the charity representatives for coming along to our captains meeting to receive their donations. Thank you also to the committee and to you the players/members of our league who through fund raising or fines, we were able to do this. Thank you!
